The company is engaged in the design and retail sale of kidswear through its operated shops in Spain and internationally. With registered head office located in Málaga, Spain, the company was established in July 1991. The company is a pioneer in the kidswear franchise world in the country. Trading under the name Charanga, it designs and sells clothing and accessories for youngsters. Charanga collections are aimed at children aged 0 and 14, and divided up into nine lines: Primera Postura, Bebé, Mini Niño, Mini Niña, Niño, Niña, pyjamas, intimates and formal wear. Its designs are comfortable and colourful, with original pictures and embroidery. It offers two collections per year - a line of basics and an extensive selection of accessories, colognes and gift items. The company runs 178 shops, 82 on a franchise basis. It operates in ten boutiques (seven franchises) in Portugal, one franchise in Romania and another in Venezuela.
